Neutron capture
In the HHMAX-ENERGY Linear Field Reverse Configuration (FRC) device, when fusion occurs, two deuterium atoms produce one helium atom and one neutron, releasing a significant amount of energy. When the entire device functions as a neutron source, the large number of neutrons generated by the fusion reaction can be extensively extracted through the opening in the central chamber, while the remaining neutrons are absorbed by the first wall material.
