Good News | HHMAX-ENERGY Wins First Prize in Enterprise Category at Sichuan Provincial Finals of “Maker China” Competition
On September 10, the provincial finals of the 10th “Maker China” Sichuan SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition commenced in Pidu District, Chengdu. Organized by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance, the two-day event featured separate competitions for the Enterprise Group and Maker Group. Among the 35 projects in the Enterprise Group and 15 projects in the Maker Group, the Enterprise Group will award 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 10 merit awards, while the Maker Group will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 4 merit awards. HHMAX-ENERGY (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd. participated with its project “Linear Field Reverse Configuration (FRC) Controllable Nuclear Fusion Device.” Its leading technical solution and innovative “stepwise development” model earned high recognition from the on-site judges, securing the company the first prize in the enterprise category.

Final Competition Venue
The competition officially commenced in July, with HHMAX-ENERGY advancing through the preliminary and selection rounds by securing second and tenth place respectively, ultimately reaching the finals. The company emerged victorious from over 500 participating enterprise projects.
In the finals, HHMAX-ENERGY further demonstrated the technological advantages and innovation of its Linear Field Reverse Configuration (FRC) controlled nuclear fusion device. The company highlighted its “laying eggs along the way” development model, which involves generating partial commercial revenue before achieving power generation by utilizing neutrons produced by the device for cancer treatment, neutron imaging, and nuclear waste processing. The judges highly commended HHMAX-ENERGY's innovative approach toward achieving fusion power generation and expressed strong recognition for its pioneering “laying eggs along the way” development model. During the Q&A session, judges focused their inquiries on the applications of the company's neutron source and the preliminary planning for BNCT (boron neutron capture therapy).
Ultimately, HHMAX-ENERGY's project “Linear Field Reverse Configuration (FRC) Controllable Nuclear Fusion Device” scored 463.24 points, securing the first prize in the competition. It will represent the outstanding projects in the selection for the Top 500 and Top 50 nationwide in the 10th “Maker China” SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. From September 12 to 14, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology officially announced and confirmed the competition rankings on its website.

Additionally, at the finals venue, the Acceleration Camp for Outstanding Projects from the 10th “Maker China” Sichuan Provincial SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was officially launched. Focusing on critical stages of project development, the Acceleration Camp features 10 targeted support policies jointly introduced by the Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Department of Finance, in collaboration with multiple departments. These policies cover six key areas: financial incentives, priority cultivation, financial support, public services, industrial chain integration, and promotional outreach. Awards reach up to 1 million yuan, with outstanding projects gaining direct eligibility for the national “Little Giant” program for specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises. HHMAX-ENERGY's “Linear Field Reverse Configuration (FRC) Controllable Nuclear Fusion Device” was selected as an outstanding project in this competition and included in the province's Top 50 Projects Catalog.
