HHMAX-ENERG's “Plasma Source and Diagnostics Platform R&D Pilot Project” Officially Signed in Chengdu Economic Development Zone

On April 3, Chengdu Economic Development Zone hosted a government-enterprise exchange event titled “Deepening Park Development and Full Utilization: Win-Win Cooperation for the Future.” Renowned enterprises, research institutes, fund companies, financial institutions, and associations from the zone gathered at Dong'an Lake to explore new urban opportunities and chart a shared path toward future development.

A major project signing ceremony was held concurrently. Xiang Jiang, Chairman of HHMAX-ENERGY, attended the event and signed an agreement on behalf of the company with the Chengdu Economic Development Zone Management Committee. This marks the official launch of HHMAX-ENERGY's “Plasma Source and Diagnostic Platform R&D Pilot Project” in Chengdu Economic Development Zone.

Event Venue

This event adheres to a business-centric approach, focusing on advancing one reform, releasing one set of policies, prioritizing the “Five Batches” key projects (enterprises), publishing five opportunity lists, and launching seven special initiatives (collectively referred to as the “11557” framework). It showcases Chengdu Economic Development Zone's robust policy ecosystem and premium service environment while establishing a collaborative platform for mutual growth between government and enterprises.

During the event, Chengdu Economic Development Zone also released the “Five Batches” key projects (enterprises) list. Focusing on key areas and critical links in economic operations, and following the logic of full-lifecycle management for projects and enterprises, the zone has compiled five lists: planning and reserve, promoting construction and achieving production capacity, upgrading to meet standards and improving quality, cultivating excellence and strengthening capabilities, and revitalizing and utilizing resources. This approach emphasizes project-based, list-driven, and data-oriented economic work to effectively advance park establishment and full utilization, fostering joint construction and mutual benefit. Notably, “advanced energy” has been incorporated into the Economic Development Zone's eight major industrial chains. Relevant support policies will be provided to foster enterprise development and strengthen industrial clustering.

Signing Ceremony

At the on-site signing ceremony, 15 projects including HHMAX-ENERGY's “Plasma Source and Diagnostics Platform R&D Pilot Project” were formally contracted with Chengdu Economic Development Zone, marking their official implementation. Prior to the meeting, the renovation project for the HHMAX-ENERGY fusion facility base had commenced. Upon completion, it will provide effective support for implementing the “Plasma Source and Diagnostics Platform R&D Pilot Project” and accelerate the transformation of technological achievements into practical commercial applications.

HHMAX-ENERGY will use this signing as a starting point to further refine and enhance its R&D team, accelerate facility construction and project development, advance iterative verification of core fusion technologies, and lay the foundation for future demonstration-scale fusion energy facility construction.
