Project Update | HHMAX-901 Unit Passes Vacuum Sealing Performance Verification in the Formation Zone
With the comprehensive completion of the HHMAX-ENERGY fusion device facility renovation, the HHMAX-901 device has entered the installation and construction phase, with all construction activities proceeding in an orderly manner. Recently, the project successfully completed the foundation installation for the dual-side formation zones and finished the associated commissioning. All test results met the expected design targets.

The completed installation
In mid-June, following the comprehensive completion of the base renovation, HHMAX-ENERGY expedited the installation of the HHMAX-901 unit. After erecting the main host structures for both formation zones, the R&D team promptly initiated relevant testing and validation experiments for the unit's formation zones. Through comprehensive testing and experimental verification, the project team confirmed the rationality of the dual-side formation zone design, meeting overall requirements:
• The vacuum sealing performance of the formation zone is qualified, with vacuum levels meeting technical targets and the sealing structure design being sound.
• The relevant host structures and supporting foundation systems meet design requirements, laying a solid foundation for subsequent assembly and experimental operations of the unit.

Equipment Commissioning
Moving forward, the HHMAX-ENERGY R&D team and relevant partners will continue to collaborate closely, pooling our collective strength to expedite the construction of the entire facility. This will ensure the HHMAX-901 facility is completed as soon as possible and related experiments can commence.
